Good Student Insurance Credit

Do you have a good student driver?

You may be eligible for a good student credit on your personal auto policy. It’s been well documented that good students make better drivers.  If your 16 to 25 year old student maintains a 3.0 (“B”) or better as a full time high school or college student, you could be eligible for 15% to 25% discount when you add them to your policy.

Additionally, if your young driver has completed a driver’s education course, this will ensure the deepest discount.

If your child qualifies for a good student discount, all you have to do is provide your insurance agent with either a report card or a letter from the school. Keep in mind that there is no automatic carry-over with this discount, so you must provide new proof of your child’s grades before renewing your auto insurance.
